Dear Lord: You have nurtured me since the beginning, You have provided my needs time and again. I never ask for anything that is not impossible unto you. You have answered all my prayers, even when I prayed for a different answer. You have helped me to understand that even when the answer, I got was not the one that I wanted, and my pain soared. You have shown me that your way is always the right way You have given me comfort through all things You have opened my eyes to so many things Yet it is just a fraction of what remains. In times of illness you sustained me. In times of despair you carried me. In times of darkness, you showed me the light. You have given me comfort as only you can. You have shown me your glory time and again. And so today Lord, not for me, but for those whose hearts are grieving, and whose burdens are difficult..... I ask you to give them strength and to carry them. To comfort them in their darkest moments. I ask in your name Lord, to give them a blanket of spiritual comfort. I ask you to shower them with your Love and Mercy. Help them to stand before your glory. Give them strength - And to grant unto them your will.
